With his snow shoes tightly strapped and is his eight dogs briskly running ahead of him, Maynard Bullock was on the fore front of hunting and trapping, coyote, beaver, otter, bob cat, fox and deer, in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This was back when Michigan had its bounty and gas was 19 Cents a gallon. It was when he could ride one of the earliest snowmobiles made, his 8 horse Scorpion up and down the river. He was able to get some of the best memories of his life while lying back in the dead of winter, waiting for his howling dogs to return. This experience gave him the memories of a life time. These are the memories that gave him the incentive to open Bullock’s Guns N More.

Added to his staff at Bullock’s Guns N More is Deborah his wife and Michael Howell. Bullock’s Guns N More opened its doors in 1989, selling just a small collection of guns from a meager rack in his back building. Now almost twenty years later, Bullock’s has a large selection of guns in stock and a large inventory of safes.
